Old Oak Cottages are situated in a delightful rural location, just outside the pretty village of Little Thirkleby, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, boasting spectacular views across unspoilt countryside towards the White Horse of Kilburn.
This wonderful cluster of 8 luxury holiday cottages have been beautifully converted from Barns, Stables and an old Potato Store and retain many original features.
Each cottage offers the highest standards of comfort and design, and we ensure our standards of maintenance and housekeeping are of the highest level and it is also good to know that a significant proportion of our guests is based upon repeat custom and recommendation. There is exclusive use for our cottage guests of our superb indoor heated pool and spa bath together with an all weather tennis court. This haven of relaxation is surrounded by 400 acres of well kept farm land, walks and duck pond. Children can enjoy the Climbing Frame, Swings, Slide, Football Net, Play Fort, Trampoline and See-Saw in the large fenced play/picnic field. Exactly 11 yrs to the day since the first of many visits to Old Oak. As fabulous as ever! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the chickens, hedgehogs and swallows. Great days out and a very entertaining fab night out at the Ritz Cinema in Thirsk. Thank you.

We have really enjoyed our short stay in Pheasant cottage. The children have loved the pool and play area. Thank you so much for the hamper. You have a beautiful setting and lovely properties in a great area for exploring and visiting many different places. We would thoroughly recommend your cottages to anyone wishing to stay.

We have had a wonderful time at Old Oak Cottages. Pheasant cottage is so spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed being able to use our swimming times together. Hope we will come back soon and do it all again! Thank you for having us, it was one for the memory bank!

A wonderful few days in a fabulous location, peaceful yet really accessible to everywhere we wanted to visit. Cottage is very comfortable (Wren) and the basket of goodies on arrival was very welcome. Great to have somewhere to sit outside as we were very lucky with the weather and very amusing to share it with incredibly friendly chickens. A fabulous stay, thanks for everything.

WOW! What a wonderful surprise to see such a beautiful cottage. The welcome pack was gratefully received after a long drive. We enjoyed the swimming Pool and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. We will highly recommend the cottages to our friends and family. The perfect place as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Thank you.

Beautiful location, comfortable accommodation, welcoming owners. Great facilities and lots to do in the area. Especially loved the little touches like dog biscuits and a towel for the dog.
